EDIT: Thanks for the answers, I discovered it was because of 2 files that were not in the right place. I copied the files "Steam.dll" and "Steam2.dll" from the Steam folder and pasted them into the Call of Duty folder. Then I had to wait with a black screen for a fewof minutes for the game to start up. Changing the video resolution helped it
